FESTIVAL (S) = artistic manifestation with a festive character, held periodically, where they demonstrate achievements in an artistic domain.

Youth Movement "Voievod" makes trimestrial festivals going on in different actions, like: "stop narcomania", "different but united", "Children-flowers of happiness." We do not make festivals only in schools and colleges, but take part in various festivals in public places, including inclosed places like monasteries, churches.

The programme of the following festival is organized by a certain committee. The Festival is not just a meeting, it gives a chance to interpret a scene play, to read poetry, going to different competitions, plus you can listen to or to tell stories. Due to these festivals, we can draw attention to a larger population, the problems that persist, and to find an efficient method to solve them.

The Festival - is the key that opens the doors of young talent, wich makes them more free and more open.

From July 22, through Voievod YMCA Organization, a group of 38 young people from Moldova, arrived in Prague at the YMCA Europe Festival 2008. Here in the period 3-9 August were over 10,000 visitors from 25 countries.

Our youth will be involved in the works for the Festival. Initiating work with a little trip to the beautiful city, those from Moldova continued with a very busy volunteer work. A very important mission, our volunteers were giving help to Swiss volunteers wich were making a church as a symbol of faith for festival participants and guests.

YMCA is a totally democratic organisation, without political, religious or racial influences. In a fairly rapid pace, leading the organization to evolve principles by which the 10 Commandments were the basis of training world. YMCA promotes a healthy lifestyle, against drugs, alcohol and smoking. A large part of the group members are volunteers of the Federation of Sports National Fight - VOIEVOD. They have been cheered for their power, diligence, discipline, speed and quality of working. Foreigners were in shock and sometimes even looking for work in astonishment. During the Festival, the Voievodes will present demonstrations of battle traditional handgrip and fight with swords.

For the near future the group of volunteers have planned some mastab activities in the country and beyond.
