In Moldova the authentic style of fighting was created in 1992, becoming a national wrestling style body-to-body merger process started in style K-1, Kick-Boxing and the fight CAMPO. Within several years after an intense activity of affirmation and consolidation, martial arts Voievod have been recognized by the International Federation World Budo Federation, Euro Taekwondo, TaeKwon-Do International and the YMCA World .
A few years ago , there was discussed very much the posibility of the creation of a similar federation, but in september 2007,at the European championship from germany, was approached the problem about the right candidate for organization. Then many countries voted for Gabriel stati, Company Stati&Co' president, arguing the option through the considerable contribution that it gives to sport and culture. The choice is appropriate and fully justified. Recently , at 10 september ,the bussinesman Gabriel Stati , was voted by 14 countries , including Britain , Germany , ireland , Italy , Russia , the President of the International Federation '' Voievod '' , that was recorded two months later , in november. Mr.Stati is , firstly , a good sportsman and he knows very well the problems from sports's world. Before the recording of International federation,and the president post's choice,Gabriel stati had coordonate the all international competitions of National Fight"Voievod" and oganizated more sportive seminars,with their help was promovate traditions and culture of our nation above borders
The ''Voievod'' Organization is a combination of multilateral training and educational seminars, assessed, including in the international championships, where voivodes occupy distinguished places, thus proving the power of moldovean youth and their desire to assert the sport Arenas. Fight "Voievod" includes hundreds of young athletes eager to become famous. A good part of them have fulfilled the dream obtained medals at national, European and global, championships.
Therefore, "Voievod" is a sistem of combinations of fight and self-defence, while at the same time, a program of physical and psychological preparation for beginners and athletes of performance. The respective style is centred on technique blow's norms , working on the basis of human biomechanics, and is overall, a combination of several effective methods of fighting, which in the "Voievod, contribute to the improving of moldovan technique.
