Art.1 Theese rules concern all championships organized by the National Martial Arts Federation "Voievod", all the members of the federation regardless of their rank, to all helders of the grades or classifications in National Martial Art "Voievod", all competitors male or female, juniors, teenagers or adults. |

Art.2. Competition - is an organized sport event, which has as its scope to compare and to scale physical, technical, phsychological and tactical abilities of the sportsmen, and thus to: consolidate the quality of the National Martial Art "Voievod", create equal conditions for the sportsmen, select and prepare representatives of the Republic of Moldova on the international level. |

Art.5. Disciplines
Championships, divided into individual and team ranking, are held basing on the official rules of the Federation of National Martial Arts "Voievod" in categories as follows:
1. Traditional Patterns (individual)
2. Traditional Patterns (team)
3. Demonstration Shows (team)
4. Sparring "VOIEVOD" (individual)
5. Sparring "VOIEVOD" (team)
6. Weapon Fight
7. Cpecial Techniques
8. Breaking
Traditional Patterns (individual) - performing patterns "Voievod" ¹1\¹2\¹3\¹4\¹5
Each competitor performs a pattern, according to his grade.
Traditional Patterns (team) - patterns performed by a team of men/women/mixed. Teams consist of -2,-3,-4,-5,-6 sportsmen.
Each team perform a pattern by its choice.
Demonstration Shows (team) - Demonstration fights/Fights with weapons/Self defence/ Art techniques and breakings
Each team make a presentation no more than for 10 minutes.
Sparring "Voievod" (individual) - semi-contact\full-contact
Preliminaries - 2 rounds 1.5 minutes each; Semifinals - 2 rounds 2minutes each; Finals - 3 rounds 2 minutes each.
Sparring "Voievod"(team) - semi-contact\full-contact, teams of 2 or 3 sportsmen. Preliminaries - 1 round for 3 minutes; Semifinals - 1 round for 4minutes; Finals - 1 round for 5 minutes
Special Techniques (individual) - length\height
Each competitor performs a long jump or a high jump with a following breaking. Maximum of 2 tries.
Breaking (individual) - hand\foot
Each competitor performs a kick or a punch trying to break an object. One try available.
Note: Championships are held using elimination system |

Art. 6. Categories
Competitors are divided into categories: kids, juniors, adults ( men\women )
1) Categories by age
Kids: 5-6 years old/ 7-8 years/ 9-10 years/ 11-12 years/
Juniors: 13-14 years/15-16 years/17-18 years
Adults: above 18 years old
2) Categories by weight:
Kids: -20kg / -25kg / -30kg / -35kg / -40kg / -45kg / -50kg / -55kg / -60kg / +60kg
Juniors: -40kg / -45kg / -50kg / -55kg / -60kg / -65kg / -70kg / -75kg / -80kg / +80kg
Adults: -60kg / -65kg / -70kg / -75kg / -80kg/ -85kg / -90kg / -95kg / -100kg / +100kg
3) Categories by Height
Kids: -130ñì / -140cì / -150cì / -160cì / +160cì
Juniors: -150cì / -160cì / -170cì/ -180cì / +180cì
Adults: -160cì / -170cì / -180cì / -190cì / +190cì.
4) Categories for Colored Belts :
Kids: 8-7kup / 6-5kup / 4-3kup
Juniors: 6-5kup / 4-3kup / 2-1kup
Adults: 4-3kup / 2-1kup
5) Categories Black Belts
Kids: 1dan
Juniors: 1dan / 2dan
Adults: 1dan / 2dan / 3dan / 4dan
All sportsmen should be healthy physically( a medical approval signed in sport ID is needed) and mentaly, regardless of the discipline they are signed in. In addition, sportsmen should be approved in an eligible club, registred in the Federation of National Martial Arts "Voievod", like posessors of colored belts, given\recognized by the Federation of National Martial Arts "Voievod" and Black belts, given\recognized by the Federation of National Martial Arts "Voievod". |

Art.7. Responsability for the injuries and Championships insurance.
All sportsmen should posses a certificate approving the ability to endure physical duty. Also, by submitting aplication while signing in, they take upon themselfes all the responsability for any accidents which might occure. Sportsmans health is the responsability of the management of the team which he represents. |

Art.8. Sport equipment, safety equipment and protective wear.
Competitors equipment consists of uniform and protective wear. The uniform is a special wear with an emblem of "Voievod " placed on the left side of the chest area, and on the back. The right side of the chest area is for the emblem of the Club, on the left or right sleeve within 10 sq.cm can be placed the sponsors emblem.
Safety equipment is divided into obligatory and additional pieces.
Obligatory safety equipment consists of head guard, gum shield, groin guard, hands and feet protective equipment ( special shoes, covering the footstep from behind and toes and the heel is covered with shoe's double bandage).
Additional protetive equipment may consist of protection for genitals, chest, shank.
Protective wear is approved by the rules of the National Martial Arts Voievod, and is made of elasticated material with sponge or rubber type padding.Should contain no metal, bone or similar hard material ( zip, lace or stud fasteners) which could injure the opponent. Any jewelery and other decorative stuff prohibited. Long hair should be collected with a rubber elastic band, which won't slip of. Ladies and girls are allowed to wear under the uniform a sport shirt or a bra of only white color.
Any protective wear other than mentioned above is prohibited. Competitors with injuries must convince the referee of the need of bandage, and get permission before the championshps started. Bandages shouldn't be tied using pins or other hard materials, also bandage shoudn't be used as additional support.
Note: Smoking, drinking alcohol and using drugs in or out the championships is stricly prohibited. |

Art.9. Demands of sportsmen
Sportsmen should greet the officials, inside or outside, the competition hall with a special bow and say aloud the word "Voievod". Coaches should introduce the officials to the spotsmen. Competitors greet each other and judges in the beginning and in th end of each meeting. Also they are not allowed to leave the tribune or public area and to enter to the competition zone without invitation.
Standing between the jury table and ring is prohibited. Tresspassing is allowed only along the far side of the ring.Competitors may enter the area for the prepearing only after correspondeng official invitation, and to proceed to the sparring area only after the fight is announced. Only coaches or instructors can ask the jury about the fights schedule.
In the hall can be present only officials, competitors, event stuff and security.
Violation of any instruction will be punished by the disciplinary comitee or referee director. The team would be fined, and repeated case would lead to disqualification from all signed in sportsmen from all disciplines. Fine would go the Federation of National Martial Art Voievod. |

Art. 10. Judging stuff of the ring.
Board of adjudicators of the ring consists of not more than 3 higher juries, and 5 person in the ring.
a) Higer Judges take their place at the desk. In the middle sit the chairman of the board, who speaks the final dicision about the sportsmen results and also resolves misunderstandigs and complaints.
To the sides of the chairman sits the recorder, who is registering the fight, and timekeeper, who is watchin fight duration.
b) Arbiters are seated on chairs in front of the ring.
In Traditional Patterns discipline (individual),Traditional Patterns (team), and Demonstration Show disciplines the arbiters are seated in 1.5m from the desk in front of the ring. The arbiter in the center instructs the sportsmen and imposes a required pattern. The Chairman delegates an arbiter to pass the arbiters cards to the desk.
During such disciplines like : Sparring "VOIEVOD" (individual), Sparring "VOIEVOD" (team)and Weapon Fight four judges, the corner arbiters, are seated, in the corners of sparring area. Their task is to record the obtained by the competitors points according to the Judging Rules.
The fifth judge, the referee, is in the center of the ring. His task is controll the fight, and to mark the competitors faults by making notices or by deducting points from competitors score. The last decision is anounced only according with the chairman of the adjudicators board.
The Referee shoul act in sucha a way so he is able both to mark the sportsmens faults and to notice signs from the chairman from the desk, who is the only one who is authorized to remove a sportsman from the competition in a certain case. Procedure of the disqualification of the sportsman is applied by the Referee Director after the meeting of the Adjudicators Board of the event.
During the Special Technique and Breaking disciplines 2 arbiters stand in front of the desk and watch the correctly performed tasks, and award points. |

Art. 11. The appearance of the judges and officials.
In the event arena, corner arbiters should wear a blue shirt with emblem "Voievod", yellow tie, black pants, black or white shoes in sports style. Referee should wear yellow shirt with an emblem of "Voievod", blue tie, black pants, black or white shoes in sports style.
The Officials ,except for the representative of the Sport Agency, should be dreesed according to the Rules of National Martial Art "Voievod". |

Art.12. The Behaviour of the judges and officials
-The Officials should behave polite and with dignity
-Should be attentive during chmpionships
-Should be impartial in their decisions
-Should be distanced from the competitors
-Should referee their own sportsmen, except if permitted by the opponent side and Referee Director
-Should have basic knowledge of first aid
-Shuoldn't leave the judges area without permission of the Referee Director.

Art.13. Medical Aid
All parts of the championships are help under control of competent medical emergency personnel.
Only medic can decide if a sportsman is able to continue competition or not, and to take corresponding measures. |

Art.14. Championships supply
The organizer should take care of the necessary conditions assuring successful realization of the championships. A special box should contain all the necessary documents in original, with an easy acces for the officials. The box should contain: Events schedule for days and hours, the information about sparring area, materials for special technique,breaking and other (pencils, flags, files, diplomas, medals) |

Art.15. Sparring area (Ring)
The size of the area - maximum of 9x9 meters.
Official desk in front of it. Stepping out of the marked area is punished depending on the disipline. |

Art.16. Delegates:
Delegate of a sport club, who can be an official, a coach, an instructor or a judge can sign the sportsmen in the championships. He should present all necessary documents, is materially responsible and must be present at the weighing. Also, the delegate should take part in technical meeting in the evening of registration, and to take part in sortition into categories. |

Art.17. Coaches, instructors.
During Sparring "VOIEVOD" (individual), Sparring "VOIEVOD" (team) and Weapon Fight disciplines only one coach or instructor is allowed not closer than 1 meter from the ring. He should wear sport dress and shoes, and should have a towel. He shouldn't anyhow intervene in the competition. The coach is not allowed to talk to the arbiters, and in case of several violations of instructions the referee with the chairman of the desk can disqualify the coach and ask for his replacement.
Coach or instructor is the only person with the right to make an official complaint. |

Art. 18. Awards
Prizes are presented to all competitors having taken 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Sportsmen who have left the competition with reasons others than medical but took award places, won't be awarded. Rewarding is held in each category, kids, juniors, adults. In team disciplines each team member recieves a medal or a diploma.
If in a category or discipline there are less than 4 participants, they are awarded but their results do not count in overall rating. Total number of medals is counted by the organizer by summarizing medals for each category separately.
Champion can be distinguished according the 1st places taken in different disciplines, in case if there were at least 4 competitors. If there are many candidates, champion can be awarded for the number of gold, silver and bronze medals obtained. |

Art.19. Overall team rating.
Total team rating is performed separately for kids, juniors and adults. The prize given would have an inscription mentioning taken position.
The rating is formed only by those disciplines which had at least 4 participants. In case of disqualification of one of them, the other the can take part in forming the rating. In team rating there would be only one medal, but not for the each member. |

Art.20. Weight Check
Weighing is held for those competitors participating in such disciplines like
During such disciplines like Sparring "VOIEVOD" (individual) and Sparring "VOIEVOD" (team).
Weighing is held on the day of registration, or in exceptional cases on the first day ov the competition. Sportsmen who didn't pass the weighing before the events start are not admitted to the competitions. |

Art.21. Anouncements
Sportsmen should enter the ring immediately after announcement. Announcement will be made twice and competitor will be withdrawn from the championships if not present within 2 minutes.
The equipment is checked by the referee. |
