Federation History

 

The body-and-body sport fight, called "Voievod" have the roots in the history of Moldova. Stefan's cel Mare fighters faught with the sward, lance and according to these features, the moldovan style of fights got the title "Voievod".

In 2002 in Moldova was created a national style of body-to-body fights "Voievod". "Voievod" appeared as a combination of other fights style as K-1, box, and fight sistem CAMPO. After fewyears "Voievod" style was recognised as a national fight style by the Iinternational "Euro Taekwondo" Federation and World "Budo" Federation.

 

In some pages of the famous russian writter's memories Alexandr Puschin, written during the period of peing in Chisinau, was mentioned about the activities of the moldovan youht.

Walking on bulgarian street, how it was called then, the russian poet was captured by the strange activities of the young people in one yard. Being separated in pairs and holding different objects, they were attacking each other, demons practing power and ability.

This fact recalled to the poet classical body-and-body fights. Pusñhin, with big interest watched the fighters and then passed in to the yard, where he initiated a soul conversation with the youngers.

The initiator and the founder of the "Voievod" style of martial arts is Nicolae Pascaru, european champion on "Euro Taekwondo".

At the base of "Voievod" fights styled the attack techniques, used in past, and also the national traditions and customs, that atract the young people, who with a strong perseverence mail their abilities and competence in this king of sport - "Voievod".
